The Constitution of Minecraftia

We, the Nations of Minecraftia, so as to establish order and enable ourselves peace, freedom, and justice, hereby found this Constitution of Minecraftia.
Article I: Administration-I.I: The Executive
The Executive Authority of Minecraftia shall be vested in The Founder of Minecraftia, Soviet Canuckistan.
--I.I.I: The Founder
The Founder shall retain his position for life or until resignation, and if that ever happens, he will be replaced by a Regent of Minecraftia (see I.I.III: The Regent). The Founder has the powers to expel any nation from Minecraftia, to create and nominate leaders of Executive Departments, to increase or decrease the size of the Senate at any time (see 1.2.1: The Senate), to break ties during the Senate and WA Delegate Elections, to approve of or deny membership applications, to approve of amendments to the Constitution of Minecraftia with the approval of the Senate, give the WA Delegate the authority to approve World Assembly proposals, and to declare war on other regions with the approval of the majority of the Senate.
--I.I.II: The WA Delegate
The WA Delegate of Minecraftia shall represent the region in the World Assembly. He/she shall post polls on whether or not he/she should vote for WA proposals. He/she shall be able to approve of WA proposals as long as he/she notifies the Citizens of Minecraftia of his/her decision. If the WA Delegate is deemed to be acting in any way that is harmful to the region by the Founder and two-thirds of the Senate, he/she may be suspended from duty for up to three days. If he/she continues on with the harmful acts, the Founder may banject him/her from Minecraftia for a length of time set by the Senate.
---I.I.II.I: Becoming a WA Delegate
To become a WA Delegate, said nation must announce his/her intention to run for the position. Then, the citizens of Minecraftia shall vote on whether or not to vote said nation into office. At least half + one of voting nations must vote for said nation if he/she is to attain that position. In the event of a tie vote, The Founder shall be the tie-breaker. The WA Delegate shall serve for up to three two-month terms.
--I.I.III: The Regent
The Regent's primary function is to assist The Founder with his duties and to provide advice for him upon request. If The Founder is absent from duty (defined as having no Government Activity for five days at least), the Regent shall have the right to exercise all of the Founder's powers, with the sole exception of expelling nations from the region. If the Founder dies or resigns, the Regent shall take his place and shall nominate a new regent within 24 hours. If a Regent is deemed to be acting in any way that is harmful to the region by two thirds of the Senate and the Founder, he may be suspended from duty for up to three days. If he/she continues on with the harmful acts, the Founder may banject him/her from Minecraftia for as long as he wishes.
---I.I.III.I: Becoming a Regent
To become a Regent, said nation must be nominated by The Founder and approved by a majority of the Senate. After attaining the position, the Regent can serve for an unlimited number of two month terms. At the end of each term, the citizens of Minecraftia can vote to keep or remove him/her. At least 66 percent of the voters need to vote against for the Regent to be removed.
--I.I.IIII: Executive Departments
Any citizen may propose adding an Executive Department to administrate certain functions of the government more efficiently. To become reality, the proposal must be approved by a majority of the Senate and The Founder.
-I.II: The Legislative
The Legislative Authority shall be vested in a Senate of Minecraftia.
--I.II.I: The Senate
The Senate shall be composed of between three to six members. This number is set and can be changed at any time by The Founder. The Senate has the power to approve or deny proposals to amend the constitution (see Article III: Amendments), approve of proposals to declare war from The Founder, to approve of or deny nominations for Regent, and temporarily dismiss the Regent or WA Delegate from duty.
---I.II.I.I: The Senate Election Process
To become a Senator, said nation must announce his her intention to become one. He/she then must be voted in by the citizens of Minecraftia. At least half + one of the voters must vote for in order for the said nation to be voted in. In the event of a tie vote, The Founder shall be the tie-breaker.
Article II: CitizenshipTo become an official citizen of Minecraftia, the said nation must be resident in the region.
All other rules and guidelines are to be established by the Founder, as long as a majority of the Senate approves.
Article III: Amendments to the ConstitutionAny citizen can propose adding an amendment to the Constitution.
At least 75 percent of the Senate and The Founder must approve of the amendment for it to be passed.
Article IIII: The CodeAll other less significant laws may be outlined in the Minecraftia Code. Any citizen has the right to propose adding additional content to the Code, or removing existing content. For a proposal to pass, a majority of the Senate and the Founder must approve of it.[/quote]
